Mateusz Gamrot is unhappy with Michael Chandler’s statement, the American mentioned the names of several rivals but did not mention the Pole.
Michael Chandler succumbed to Charles Oliveira at the UFC 309 gala in New York. The American basically did not threaten the Brazilian, who probably won on points. Chandler had one moment in which he could have won, however, instead of coldly hitting his rival he started hitting Oliveira in the back of the head which ultimately was of no use.
After the fight, Chandler began throwing around more names of strong fighters who are UFC stars. Michael mentioned Max Holloway, Justin Gaethje and Conor McGregor. The American did not mention the Pole, but instead began to speak about the battle for the BMF belt.
Matthew Gamrot was clearly unhappy with Chandler’s words and approach and briefly commented on Iron Mike’s behavior.

Mateusz Gamrot has repeatedly mentioned Michael Chandler’s name in the past as a potential rival in the UFC octagon. However, the American who counts on box office fights usually remains deaf to the Pole’s words.
Currently Mateusz Gamrot and Michael Chandler are ranked right next to each other in the lightweight category rankings. The Red Dragon and American Top Team fighter is ranked seventh while Chandler is eighth in the rankings after his loss to Oliveira.
