At theXTB KSW 121eventin Liberec, two of the top welterweight fighters will face off. In this matchup,Muslim Tulshaev (14-4, 6 KOs, 5 submissions), a former title challenger and current No. 1 in the rankings, will faceKacper Koziorzębski(13-6, 4 KOs), the No. 2-ranked fighter. The bout will take place onSeptember 19 at the Home Credit Arena in the Czech Republic.
Tulshaev vs. Koziorzębski at XTB KSW 121
Muslim Tulshaev has five fights under his belt in the KSW octagon. He last competed in December of last year, when he faced Adrian Bartosiński in a title bout. In that championship bout—which was so spectacular that it was named the Fight of the Night—he had to concede defeat to the champion. That loss snapped Tulshaev’s impressive four-fight winning streak. The German fighter has been competing professionally since 2012. He has fought eighteen times, winning fourteen of those bouts. He has knocked out his opponents six times and finished five fights via submission. He has won as many as seven bouts in the first round. To date, all of Tulshaev’s KSW bouts have been recognized with bonuses. He has already earned three bonuses for best bouts, as well as one each for best knockout and best performance of the night.
Kacper Koziorzębski is on a fantastic four-fight winning streak. The Bonzai MMA fighter last competed in February, when he defeated Artur Szczepaniak. The popular “Wiór” has been competing in professional MMA since 2015. To date, he has fought nineteen times, winning thirteen of those bouts. Koziorzębski is known for putting on great, exciting shows featuring intense stand-up exchanges. In KSW, he has twice won the bonus for the best fight of the night, and his bout against Marcin Krakowiak was one of the best fights of 2020. Koziorzębski will step into the KSW cage for the twelfth time in his career.
