The fight of the evening at the XTB KSW 100 gala in Gliwice will feature a superfight between Mamed Khalidov (37-8-2), a true KSW legend, and undefeated welterweight champion Adrian Bartosinski (16-0). The confrontation in the middleweight limit will take place on November 16 at PreZero Arena Gliwice.
Mamed Khalidov will face the champion of another weight class for the fourth time in his career. So far he has fought Boris Mankowski and Roberto Soldic, the welterweight champions, and Tomasz Narkun, the welterweight champion.
Khalidov is not only a living MMA legend, but also a true KSW icon. The former KSW welterweight champion and former two-time middleweight champion this May celebrated the 20th anniversary of his professional debut in the world of mixed martial arts. Mamed has fought 44 fights to date, 36 of which he won. To his credit, he has 16 victories scored by knockout and the same number by submission. In his last fight, which took place at the XTB KSW Epic gala, Khalidov faced Tomasz Adamek in a fistfight, which ended due to Mamed’s injury. Now he will return to the cage and compete under MMA rules to once again enchant fans with his phenomenal skills.
Adrian Bartosinski has been paving his way through the MMA world like a real battering ram for years. The popular “Bartos” has so far won fifteen fights, fourteen of them finished before time, and seven times he won already in the first round. In the round cage, the welterweight champion has fought seven fights and remains the undefeated dominator of his weight category. He has sat on the championship throne since April 2023, and in the round cage he has defeated such fighters as Andrzej Grzebyk, Artur Szczepaniak, Salahdine Parnasse and Igor Michaliszyn. Now he will try his hand for the first time in a higher weight category.
