Martin Lewandowski has provided new information on the candidates for the fight against Mariusz Pudzianowski at the KSW 100 gala in Gliwice.
The KSW chief, in an interview with InTheCagePl, revealed that one of the stars who could shoot PPV sales has been crossed off the list of candidates to fight Mariusz Pudzianowski. Who is being referred to? It’s about Eddie Hall, whom the popular Pudzian very much wanted to face on November 16 at the XTB KSW 100th anniversary gala .
Unfortunately, it appears that nothing will come of the hyped Pudzianowski vs Hall duel, or at least it won’t happen anytime soon. Martin Lewandowski conveyed that the former strongman is expecting a baby and will have other things on his mind. Nevertheless, the KSW boss is of good thoughts and believes that in the future it will be possible to sign with Eddie a contract valid for many fights.
– Eddie Hall is no longer considered because he is having a baby and has private things, but he was tried on. I hope that in the future it will be possible to invite him to KSW on a multi-fight contract. There are two more in the game besides Parobec. With Eddie, there were five.
Martin Lewandowski noted that he himself rejected one of Pudzianowski’s potential rivals. One fighter himself dropped out of the candidate pool. It is worth noting that the KSW chief confirmed that the candidacy of Lukasz Parobec is still under consideration. However, it turns out that a total of as many as three fighters are still in the running, and two in principle Pudzian has already accepted.
– One I fired, one fired himself, and three are in play. There are discussions going on. Marius also got to accept, because it is impossible to make a blind date, so that he goes out and does not know who he is fighting. Mario is back on the gas, he’s embracing the coaching side of things, but at two he’s almost got the nod. This is also something I would like to announce as soon as possible. I think it’s important not to wait.
