Adam Palasz will not have fond memories of his fight at Eintracht Stadium at the Oktagon 62 gala. The Pole lost by knockout in the second round of his rematch fight with Lazar Todev.
The Oktagon 62 gala took place today in Frankfurt, and the event drew more than 58,000 fans to the stands, which is a record for European MMA. The Czech-Slovak organization Oktagon MMA left behind KSW, which occupied the first place of the podium for many years.
In one of the fights of the main card of the Oktagon 62 gala, Adam Palasz and Lazar Todev faced each other. It was a rematch duel between the fighters. In the first bout, the Bulgarian defeated the Pole after a unanimous decision by the judges. This time Lazar Todev tipped the scales in his favor midway through the second round.
The Bulgarian hit with a series of boxing punches under the net after which Palasz fell down and knelt on his knee. The referee decided that Todev had inflicted enough damage and made a decision to stop the fight wanting to protect the Pole from taking more punches.
