Adrian Bartosinski on huge bonus at KSW 100: “You have to knock out Mamed, they won’t pay for submission” [VIDEO]

Adrian Bartosinski has commented on the huge special bonus at KSW 100. The welterweight champion promises to knock out Mamed Khalidov.

Adrian Bartosinski will face Mamed Khalidov in the fight of the evening at the KSW 100th anniversary gala. The Bartosinski vs Khalidov fight will take place on November 16 in Gliwice. The KSW welterweight champion was recently in the US where he trained hard on the American Top Team mat, was one of the main topics of conversation.

At the outset, Jaru trickily asked Adrian Bartosinski about plans for a special bonus, which at this gala will be, up to 100 thousand zlotys. Bartos nodded at the reporter’s words and joked that Mamed should be knocked out.

– Well, because for submissions they may not pay. Because the last submission they didn’t like, so you have to knockout (laughs). They definitely won’t pay for submission.

Adrian Bartosinski also talked about training at American Top Team. Jaru asked Bartosinski if he was able to find someone who could replicate Mamed Khalidov’s fighting style.

– I didn’t focus on who would most resemble Mamed because I was there too briefly and it was hard for me to get to know everyone. I just tried to do with everyone, take as strong as possible for the rounds and as cross-sectional as possible.

– It’s not such a hoot to replicate Mamed for himself because he’s just weird. He has a very unconventional style. If you were to lay out his overall it’s simple, because he beats very simple actions, but sometimes he does actions that he never trained for. He has this kind of flare-ups. He doesn’t beat sickles, he beats left-right, or direct right. These are the actions he uses most often, but sometimes he will remember that after a right you have to do a triple scissors on the fly. Overall, his style is straightforward with minor pops that are hard to predict.
