Adrian Bartosinski has not yet fought his rematch fight with Andrzej Grzebyk, and has already revealed that he will fight a rematch with Salahdine Parnasse in France in September.
Over the weekend at the KSW 104 gala, KSW federation officially announced a fight for the welterweight championship belt. At KSW 105 in Gliwice, Adrian Bartosinski and Andrzej Grzebyk will face each other in the round cage for the second time.
During the face-to-face meeting, the fighters had to be separated by security. There were also accusations from Andrzej Grzebyk that the champion did not want to fight at the gala in France for fear of doping tests.
Adrian Bartosinski addressed these allegations by Grzebyk on the Klatka po Klatka program. The welterweight division champion also unexpectedly revealed the name of his next opponent.
– There was a possibility to postpone the April fight to May, but I will not fight twice in France, because after this fight I am fighting in September in France with Salhdine. Therefore, I wanted to fight in April, at home, in Poland, and after Andrzej I have a fight with Salahdine. This is the order and then I go to France.
Adrian Bartosinski will defend his title on April 26, while Salahdine Parnasse will face off for the lightweight division belt on May 10 at KSW 106 in Lyon. If both fighters win their fights then the way will be open for their duel in September.
Such a development could mean that Parnasse will not face a title defense in the featherweight category in 2025. Unless, of course, the Frenchman wants to fight three fights this year at all costs and re-enter the cage in December.
