Alex Lohore former BAMMA champion and contender for the Cage Warriors and Octagon MMA belt has signed a contract with KSW and will fight Artur Szczepaniak at KSW 101 in Paris.
At the XTB KSW 101 gala, to be held on December 20 at the Paris La Defense Arena, Artur Szczepaniak (11-3) will once again enter the round cage. The former contender for the KSW welterweight championship belt will face the experienced and accomplished Alex Lohoré (25-10) from France. The clash will be fought at the contractual weight limit of up to 79 kilograms. Tymoteusz Lopaczyk, who was originally scheduled to fight Artur Szczepaniak, had to withdraw from the bout due to health problems.
Artur Szczepaniak has fought six fights in the round cage, four of which he won. Last year, he competed for the welterweight championship belt, but had to acknowledge the superiority of Adrian Bartosinski in it. The popular King Arthur last fought in September this year and quickly submitted Krystian Kaszubowski.
He previously fought at the first KSW gala in Paris, but lost to Madaras Fleminas. The 27-year-old, who lives and trains daily in Belgium, has fourteen fights to his credit, eleven of which he won. Szczepaniak is famous for sending his rivals to the boards. Nine times he has triumphed before time, six of them by knockouts and three by submission. In KSW, he sent Brian Hooia and Henry Fadipe to the boards.
Alex Lohoré has been competing in professional MMA since 2014, and has fought 35 fights, 25 of which he won. 20 times he won before time, of which thirteen times he sent his rivals to the boards. During his prolific career, the fighter from France has won the championship belts of the British organizations BAMMA, FightStar Championship and Ultimate Challenge MMA, among others.
Alex Lohore is also a former contender for the belts of the Cage Warriors and Octagon MMA brands. He has also successfully competed under the wings of American Bellator, and recently fought for the Brave CF brand, where he defeated KSW’s Jivko Stoimenov, among others, and previously defeated Matus Juracka in the Octagon. Alex Lohoré will enter the KSW cage being after two wins in a row.
