Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill met in the training room at the UFC institute. The American verbally accosted his former rival, and the Poatan, who was ready to fight, threw his gloves at him.
Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill are not fond of each other. The Brazilian powerfully knocked out the American at the UFC 300 gala, and the latter has since threatened and implied that he lost the fight because Pereira took advantage of the referee’s inattention.
Today there was an unexpected encounter between the fighters on the mat of the UFC institute. In the video attached below, you can see the moment when Jamahal Hill enters the mat, heads towards the Brazilian and starts accosting him, saying that he doesn’t want to exchange sentences on Twitter, but is ready for a fight.

These words from the American angered Poatan, who moved toward the cage and threw the gloves to his rival, telling him to put them on and enter the cage. The latter, however, did not accept the challenge, and although he circled and spun around the Brazilian, he said he would not fight now, later interjecting that he would not do it for free.
Trainers present at the UFC institute and other fighters tried to control the verbal melee from turning into an exchange of blows. The situation seems to have been brought under control, however, it will be interesting to follow Pereira and Hill’s social media to see how they will comment on the incident.
