Anderson Silva gave an interview to journalist Mike Heck of the MMAFighting website. During the conversation, the Spider spoke on the subject of Paul. The 50-year-old believes that a fight with Anthony Joshua is a good matchup for Jake.
Anderson Silva believes that Jake Paul will shut the mouths of critics. The Brazilian stressed that now the haters will no longer have much to say.
– In the ring, everyone has a chance. I respect Jake a lot because he is ready to fight every time. He is a real fighter. Earlier they said that he never fought a real fighter. Now they can’t say anything because Jake will face a giant, an excellent boxer. What will people say now?
Silva pointed out that Jake Paul will face a higher category opponent with far superior physical conditions.
– Of course, Jake may lose, and then there will be those who will say, “I knew those previous fights were not real.” It’s just that Jake is not from the same weight category, and yet he will enter the ring and face one of the best fighter.
