Andrzej Grzebyk at XTB KSW 119; he’s facing a fight with Tymoteusz Lopaczek

Andrzej Grzebyk is back in action! The former contender for the welterweight belt will face a highly ranked opponent.

The XTB KSW 119 gala in Radom will feature a clash between Andrzej Grzebyk (22-8, 13 KOs, 3 Sub), number two of the welterweight category, and Tymoteusz Lopaczek (13-4, 7 KOs, 3 Sub), number seven of the list. The men will clash at the contractual weight limit of up to 80 kg. The clash will take place on June 20 at the Radom Sports Center arena.

Andrzej Grzebyk, a former KSW welterweight title challenger, has eleven fights under his belt in the round cage. The last time he competed in it was last September, when he gave an amazing battle with Muslim Tulshaev, which was chosen the best fight of the evening. The duel did not go the way of the fighter from Rzeszow, who, however, regardless of the outcome, always guarantees excitement in the cage. In KSW he won three bonuses for the best fights of the evening and two for the best knockouts. Grzebyk most often sends his rivals to the boards. He has won this way thirteen times already. Three times, on the other hand, he found victory by submission. The popular “Double Champ” has been competing professionally since 2012 and is a former middleweight and welterweight champion of the FEN organization.

Tymoteusz Lopaczyk has three fights under his belt in the KSW organization. He last competed in the round cage last September, but had to acknowledge the superiority of Madars Fleminas. The loss snapped Lopaczyk’s excellent streak of five wins in a row. The popular “Miodozer” began professional competition in 2016, and to date he has fought seventeen fights and won thirteen of them. Ten times he finished his rivals before time. Seven times he won by knockout, and three by submission. He is a former champion of the Army Fight Night and Babylon MMA organizations. He also holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
