

Anthony Smith has announced a farewell fight in the UFC. The veteran who fought nearly 60 fights in MMA made the decision to end his career in April.
Anthony Smith has had a long and prolific career. The Texas native is a former contender for the UFC organization’s welterweight title. Anthony Smith has also competed in the now-defunct Strikeforce and Bellator organizations.
The American has fought, as many as 59 professional MMA fights and apparently decided that this 60th anniversary would be the perfect time to end his professional career. Anthony Smith is still a young fighter, as he is only 36 years old, however, it is the number of fights he has fought and lost by knockout that makes Smith already badly battered.
Anthony Smith conveyed his decision to end his adventure in professional sports in an interview with Ariel Helwani. The Lionheart reported that he will fight his farewell fight in April and then retire.
Anthony Smith in recent years has repeatedly sat in the studio of the ESPN station where he worked on analyzing fights and expertly presented the juxtapositions. Therefore, it can be expected that the veteran is comfortable with this and wants to do it full time.
