Arkadiusz Wrzosek on Szpilka’s chances in fight with Martinek

Arkadiusz Wrzosek, in an interview with reporter Michal Tuszynski of FanSport TV, commented on Artur Szpilka ‘s chances against Michal Martinek.

– It’s not that “I’m very curious to see how he will or won’t cope,” because I think he will. Artur has been doing MMA for a long time and he has sparring partners who I think can surpass Martinek in level and he trains with them and I’m sure he can handle it. I’m just curious about this fight in general. It’s not “whether Artur can handle it or not,” because I know he will go out and handle it. He will know how to behave for sure.

Arek Wrzosek stressed that although looking at the record and experience in MMA Michal Martinek is the favorite, but in his opinion Artur Szpilka has a lot to offer in this clash, especially punching power.

– Who is the favorite? Well, on paper it is clear that, because of the place in the ranking, record, and so on, it is Michal Martinek. I see here in Martinek’s previous fights and what Artur has to offer not at all as an underdog, I would say. He has his strengths, footwork, he has something to hit from, so if he does this Artur Szpilka, this fight won’t last long either. I would even dare to say that Michal Martinek is not as dangerous a guy as Errol at least. Since with Errol Artur survived the boards and won the fight, then here I am calm about the fact that he will not be able to be hit somehow.
