Arkadiusz Wrzosek has commented on the dismissal of Maciej Turski by KSW. According to the kickboxer, the commentator has a lot of knowledge and should be involved in sports.
There have been quite a few changes in the KSW federation in recent days. Martin Lewandowski, one of the heads of the organization, made the decision to fire commentator Maciej Turski and part ways with referee Piotr Jarosz.
Arkadiusz Wrzosek was asked about this issue during a conversation with Michal Tuszynski, which appeared on the FanSport channel. Arek Wrzosek candidly commented on the topic and admitted that commentator Maciej Turski should focus on his work at sports galas.
– Well let me tell you yes it is not my brooch. Akurat in the case of Maciek Turski well he is a person …. I’m surprised that he wanted to. They paid him (freak organizations), he was heavily involved in it, because he was strongly associated with the sport. He is very knowledgeable and I think that’s where he should go.
Arkadiusz Wrzosek understands the decision of KSW owners. The heavyweight contender realizes that at the end of the day KSW is a private company and whether one likes it or not its bosses have every right to make such decisions.
– I think it had a right to offend Martin and Maciek that a person very associated with them (KSW), i.e. Maciej Turski was sitting in the middle, and to the right and left literally in front of him two guests (freaks) were going really long with each other. Let’s agree these freak conferences are sometimes overkill. They themselves should know this. Also they had the right, and whether to immediately fire him is also not the person who will judge the rightness of this decision.
According to Arek Wrzosek, the worst thing is to compare a strictly sports federation like KSW, which sometimes organizes freak fights, to other organizations that base everything on freak clashes and controversial conferences.
– The worst thing now is this comparison because you can’t compare freaks in KSW, to those freaks in other organizations. There is no comparison in my opinion. Regardless of who was in KSW fight cards there was never an exaggerated pathology.
