Arkadiusz Wrzosek and Szymon Bajor will face each other at KSW 114, the fight will take place on January 17 in Radom. It will be a duel between two former rivals of Phil de Fries.
The XTB KSW 114 gala, to be held on January 17 in Radom, will feature a clash of former contenders for the heavyweight belt. In this duel, the number two ranked fighter in the royal weight class, Arkadiusz Wrzosek (6-1), will face the number seven ranked fighter, Szymon Bajor (26-12). The clash will take place at the Radom Sports Center arena.
Arkadiusz Wrzosek has fought seven fights in the KSW round cage. The last time he competed was in June, when he stepped up to fight for the championship belt, but fell short against Phil De Fries. The loss interrupted a fantastic series of six straight wins by the kickboxing-derived fighter. Wrzosek made his MMA debut in 2022, and before that the Varsovian won the title of amateur world champion in K1, European champion in muay thai and many Polish championship medals in these sports. He is a former champion of the FEN organization and a former fighter for the prestigious Glory brand. He successfully uses his incredible stand-up fighting skills in the cage, where he has sent his rivals to the boards four times. He is currently ranked second in the KSW heavyweight rankings.
Szymon Bajor has eight confrontations under KSW’s wings, including a championship fight with Phil De Fries. He last competed in the round cage in September and defeated Ricardo Prasel. The fighter from Rzeszow is one of the more experienced MMA fighters in Poland. To date, he has fought 38 fights, 26 of which he won. He gathered experience not only in Poland, but also in Japan, Wales, Russia, Germany and Slovakia. He has fought for such organizations as PFL and Rizin. The Universal Fight Team club representative is a former interim champion of the FEN organization and a versatile fighter, who has knocked out his rivals eleven times and won by submission nine times.
