Arman Tsarukyan has pulled out of a rematch fight with Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 in Los Angeles. The fighters were supposed to face each other in a clash for the UFC light heavyweight championship belt, however, according to the Red Corner website, this bout will not happen.

Arman Tsarukyan was said to have suffered a back injury during the weight cutting process, and foreign journalists cited Eduard Vartanyan, the man in the Armenian’s corner, who suggested that the UFC would soon make an official announcement. Speculation immediately arose about who could replace Ahalkalakets in the fight against Islam Makhachev.

Renato Moicano and Beneil Dariush also stepped on the scales today, and both filled the 155-pound limit applicable to lightweight division championship fights. This means that these two fighters are in the front row as far as replacing Tsarukyan is concerned.

Dana White head of the UFC organization has officially announced that the Brazilian will be the new opponent of Islam Makhachev. This means that tomorrow in the evening fight of UFC 311 will face Islam Makhachev and Renato Moicano. For Money, it will be the chance of a lifetime to make a huge sensation, and at the same time rake in a huge payday.
