Arman Tsarukyan has responded to Pimblett’s critical words. The top contender of the lightweight category is waiting for a challenge to fight from the Englishman.
Paddy Pimblett will return to the octagon this Saturday, April 12, at UFC 314. Traditionally, the Englishman gives many interviews before the fight. This time “Baddy” decided to scold the top contender for the UFC lightweight division belt.
Paddy Pimblett strongly criticized Arman Tsarukyan on the Full Send podcast. During the interview, Baddy claimed that the Armenian-born fighter was spoiled by his father. The Englishman also referred to the injury that eliminated Tsarukyan from his fight with Makhachev. Pimblett believes that Arman did not have an injury at all.
– A small, elegant boy who gets everything he wants from his daddy. He wasn’t injured. He’s just a regular little pip. Yes Arman, you are a little rag.
Arman Tsarukyan couldn’t stand it and responded to the video of Paddy’s statement. Ranked number one in the lightweight division, the fighter said that Pimblett had an easy path to the top solely because of his accent and hairstyle.
– Said the guy who got the easiest way to the top of the UFC, just because he has a funny accent and a cheap Beatles haircut. We’ll see if you challenge me when you win. Then we’ll see who pisses his pants when we meet in the octagon, clown.
The situation in the lightweight category has thus taken an unexpected turn. Arman Tsarukyan, who still has no next fight announced, is ready to fight the Englishman. Of course, first Pimblett must defeat Michael Chandler.
