Bartosz Szewczyk has signed a contract with KSW, the FEN champion will fight one more fight in the cage of the organization in which he has competed since his debut.
Bartosz Szewczyk recorded his professional debut in February 2021. Since then, the fighter has fought a total of, as many as, twelve fights. In his last appearance in the FEN cage, he reached for the championship title of the welterweight category.
After winning the championship belt, Bartosz Szewczyk decided to try his hand overseas and fight for a contract with the UFC organization. However, Szewczyk lost by knockout in Dana White’s Contender Series program, which made his potential debut in the world’s best MMA league definitely out of the question for the moment.
Wojslaw Rysiewski sports director of KSW federation decided to reach out to the 27-year-old fighter and offer him a contract with Europe’s top MMA organization. Szewczyk signed the contract, however, KSW’s official profiles reported that he would be allowed to fight his farewell fight in FEN.
Bartosz Szewczyk has eight wins, one draw and three defeats to his credit. Among the most famous rivals that Szewczyk has defeated are Marcin Lazarus and Ederson Macedo. As for fighters fighting in higher weight categories, Bartosz Szewczyk is still a very young fighter, and probably KSW sees in him the potential for a future champion and star of the federation.
