Bartosz Szewczyk will face a chance to win a contract with the UFC organization on Tuesday. The Pole will appear in the Contender Series program.

Bartosz Szewczyk began his professional career in February 2021. The fighter recorded three consecutive victories at the beginning of his MMA adventure, thanks to which he faced a chance to win the interim FEN belt in the heavyweight division in his next fight.

Unfortunately Szewczyk lost at FEN 37 to Szymon Bajor, who possessed far more experience. Bartosz quickly learned his lesson from the duel with the Rzeszowian and made the decision to move down to the light-heavyweight category.

This quickly paid off, as Szewczyk lost only one fight in the following years, and is currently undefeated for four bouts. Bartosz Szewczyk reached for the FEN welterweight championship belt at the beginning of the year by knocking out Marcin Lazarus in the last second of the third round of the fight of the evening at FEN 52.

The impressive victory proved to be Szewczyk ‘s ticket to participate in Dana White’s Contender Series program, in which fighters compete for a contract with the UFC organization. On Tuesday night Szewczyk will face undefeated Kazakh Diyar Nurgozhay, who has so far fought mostly at Eagle FC galas . Nurgozhay even won the championship belt of the organization owned by Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Bartosz Szewczyk made a post on Instagram announcing a contract war in the UFC.

– Let’s goo! Tuesday’s war, I can’t wait.
