Belal Muhammad criticized Sean Strickland after his defeat at UFC 312. The welterweight division champion believes the American fought like a scared little girl.
Sean Strickland lost to Dricus Du Plessis at the UFC 312 gala in Sydney, Australia. The American’s defeat resonated with other fighters. Many fighters of the UFC organization reacted to the outcome of the clash on social media.
Belal Muhammad, the current welterweight division champion, was among the fighters who decided to openly criticize Strickland. Muhammad decided to stick a pin in Strickland and commented sharply on his performance in Sydney.
– What did you learn today? That the Bull is always right. I have been telling you for a long time that this guy is weak. He always talks a lot however, not much comes out of it in the octagon. Even his fans, those who said he’s the best boxer in the UFC, that he fights best when it comes to defensive….
– He promised you that he would “go to war, that he would bleed and was ready to die for you.” Blah, blah, blah. Boy did you go in there and bring out only straight and stopping kicks. You fought like a scared little girl. It looked like you were afraid of being hit. Strickland even when you were four rounds back you didn’t go all the way, you didn’t take any chances. In short he doesn’t have it in him, he can only make a spurt in the last five seconds of the fight.
In the end, Muhammad said he was able to defeat both Du Plessis and Strickland and would soon have two championship belts in his collection.
