Belal Muhammad will not fight Shavkat Rakhmonov, he will face another opponent. The UFC has set the champion to fight Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 315.
Fans expected that the UFC 315 event at the Bell Centre in Montreal would feature a fight for the welterweight division belt, in which Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov would meet. In fact, the fight announced by the UFC champion will take place, however, he will face a different opponent.
Belal Muhammad was scheduled to fight Shavkat in December, however, he suffered a bone infection in his foot and had to withdraw from the event. As a result, Rakhmonov faced Ian Machado Garry and defeated him after a judges’ decision. Now it is the Kazakh who is injured and the announced duel will be delayed again.
