Benoit Saint Denis addressed Mateusz Gamrot during an interview after his win at UFC 315 in Montreal.
In recent days it has become hot around a potential fight between Benoit Saint Denis and one of the Poles. Both Mateusz Gamrot and Mateusz Rębecki expressed their desire to fight a duel with the Frenchman. Saint Denis disregarded Rębecki’s words and statement, however, responded to the other of our representatives.
Matthew Gamrot said he was ready to fight even in Montreal, but the Frenchman pointed out that the UFC organization had chosen an opponent who was on the ground and had been preparing for weeks for a fight that was scheduled to take place the day before. This led to a negative reaction from Gamer, who ridiculed the French fighter.
However, Benoit Saint Denis returned to the topic already after claiming victory over Kyle Prepolc. During a conversation with a UFC reporter on the backstage after the event, Benoit Saint Denis addressed Mateusz Gamrot, while mentioning several other potential rivals.
– I feel great, I want a rival from the top 10. There was some small trash talk. Gamrot if you want I am your guest, I can dance with you no problem. It will be a tough night for you. I would like to fight anyone from the top 10. I like Hooker because he is a tough fighter. I remember his fight with Poirier he got a bonus for it, I also got a bonus for my fight with Dustin. There is also Gaethje it would be an honor and a real honor.
Mateusz Gamrot is contracted to fight Ludovit Klein at UFC Vegas 107, so the Pole won’t get a new fight before the clash with the Slovakian takes place. Of course, injuries and withdrawals are always possible, but since Gamer hasn’t fought since August 2024 it would be better for him to fight a bout at the end of May, and then consider a skirmish with the Frenchman.
