Benoit Saint Denis has announced a return to competition to take place on May 10 at UFC 315 in Montreal.
Benoit Saint Denis has delivered good news to his fans. The lightweight contender has announced that he will re-enter the UFC octagon in early May at the UFC 315 gala in Canada. The 29-year-old Frenchman has not yet revealed the name of his opponent.
Saint Denis is currently ranked thirteenth in the ranking of the up to 70 kilograms division. The French representative has had a very unsuccessful 2024, in which he lost two fights before time. Benoit was first knocked out by Dustin Poirier, and then lost to Renato Moicano after a fight that was a hard lesson for Saint Denis.
If the fighter from Bayonne gets a ranked opponent then it is not impossible that his duel will catch the main card of UFC 315. If, on the other hand, he comes to face a rival outside the ranking then, taking into account the current schedule of the event in Montreal, it is rather expected that the “God of War” will appear in the preliminary card.
Benoit Saint Denis has so far fought eight fights in the UFC organization, five of which he won. The Frenchman has won for his performances, as many as four bonuses and is regarded as an extremely impressive fighter.
