Benoit Saint Denis has a new opponent at UFC 315, it will be Kyle Prepolec fought two fights in the UFC in the past. Mateusz Gamrot laughed at the Frenchman.

Benoit Saint Denis was scheduled to fight Joel Alvarez, but the latter suffered a hand injury and withdrew from the UFC 315 gala in Montreal. Quickly there was a sizable group of lightweights who wanted to jump in as replacements to face the Frenchman in the UFC octagon the following weekend.

Accession to the clash with Saint Denis was also reported by two Poles. Mateusz Rębecki and Mateusz Gamrot spoke on the matter. The latter even conveyed that Saint Denis had rejected the fight proposal.

Matchmakers have found Benoit a new opponent, and it will be Kyle Prepolec, who fought two fights in the best MMA league in the world in 2019, and has recently been fighting mainly at regional galas in Canada. On the one hand, this choice is surprising, on the other hand, it should be remembered that Prepolec represents Canada and thus the hosts gained another fighter on the schedule for Saturday’s gala.

Mateusz Gamrot mocked the Frenchman in a comment under a post made by Marcel Dorff a journalist for Dutch Eurosport.

If the paths of the Pole and the Frenchman cross in the future it is not impossible that there will be a lot of bad blood between them. For the time being, however, keep in mind that Mateusz Gamrot will face Ludovit Klein at UFC Vegas 107, which takes place on May 31.
