Brandon Moreno and Steve Erceg will face each other in the main event of the UFC Mexico gala, although it will not be a numbered event the fight card looks excellent.
Brandon Moreno and Steve Erceg will meet in the most important bout of the UFC gala in Mexico. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 29. The duel is, of course, contracted for five rounds at the limit of the flyweight division.
Brandon Moreno is a former champion of the up to 57 kilogram category, while Steve Erceg had a chance to win the belt last year, but was not up to the task in a clash with Alexandre Pantoja. The Mexican and the Australian are linked precisely by their defeats to the aforementioned Brazilian Cannibal.
Brandon Moreno posted a short post on his Instagram profile, where he confirmed the fight with Steve Erceg.
– There could not be a better time to prove that I am ready to return to the top. On March 29, I will remind the world who I am. Thank you for the opportunity to represent my country again.
It must be admitted that the matchmakers of the UFC organization have taken care to ensure that fans in Mexico are not bored. The main fight card is clearly put together for the local fans. The second fight of the evening will feature Kelvin Gastelum and Joe Pyfer, while two additional announced bouts are clashes: Daniel Zellhuber vs Elves Brenner and Ronaldo Rodriguez vs Kevin Borjas.
Manuel Torres will also enter the octagon in the main event, although that fighter’s opponent has not yet been confirmed. The UFC will return to Mexico on March 29, with the gala taking place in the country’s capital.
