The MMA world is in mourning following the death of Allan Nascimento. Charles Oliveira, who trained with him for years at the famous Brazilian club Chute Boxe, also spoke out following the UFC fighter’s passing.

A few days ago, the UFC announced the tragic news of Allan Nascimento’s death. The 34-year-old flyweight suffered a heart attack while in Brazil. As recently as June, he was competing in the Octagon and was considered one of the best grapplers in his division. His sudden passing has shaken the MMA community.

Charles Oliveira’s touching words

For years, Nascimento represented the legendary Chute Boxe club, where he trained alongside Charles Oliveira, among others. The current BMF champion has repeatedly accompanied his friend during his UFC fights, cheering him on from the corner.

Shortly after the organization’s official announcement, Oliveira posted a moving message on Instagram in which he bid farewell to his longtime friend.

– Today I lost a brother whom I gained through martial arts. Thank you for all our training sessions together, the hours we spent on the mat, and everything we went through together.

The Brazilian made no secret of the fact that the news of Nascimento’s death was a huge blow to him.

– I’m just so grateful that you were there for me—at training sessions, in the corner, and during all the moments we shared. I love you, brother. You were a wonderful person. I still can’t believe it. We’re going to miss you so much.

Allan Nascimento fought six bouts in the UFC, winning four of them. His victories included wins over Cody Durden, Jake Hadley, and Carlos Hernandez, among others. Many experts believed that he had yet to reach his full potential and could one day join the elite of the flyweight division.

Meanwhile, Charles Oliveira is preparing for his next fight in the Octagon. According to unofficial reports, he is set to face Arman Tsarukyan as early as next month at UFC 331, although the organization has not yet confirmed this matchup. It’s possible that the Brazilian will dedicate his upcoming fight to his late friend and his family.
