Chris Duncan submitted Jordan Vucenic with a beautiful guillotine choke at the UFC gala in London.
Jordan Vucenic and Chris Duncan faced each other in the second fight of the main card of the UFC gala in London. The clash between the Englishman and the Scotsman was contracted in the lightweight division limit. Fans were treated to an internal rivalry between the two Islanders.
Jordan Vucenic is a former champion of the Cage Warriors organization, while Chris Duncan has starts in the Bellator organization. Duncan represents American Top Team and in preparation for this fight he has paired with Mateusz Gamrot, Movsar Evloev and Grant Dawson, among others.
Chris Ducan hits and Jordan Vucenic lands on the boards. The Scotsman jumps to his rival and quickly clips a guillotine taking a dominant position. A difficult start to the fight for the Englishman, who, however, managed to survive the threat. Vucenic has moved to the guard. Chris Duncan is working with punches from the top. Jordan tries to get out from under the rival and return to the stand-up. Chris, however, keeps the Englishman on the mat. Duncan attacks with knees, and after a while lifts the rival up and throws him against the mat. A very good round by Chris Duncan.
Chris Duncan gets into the legs of the Englishman at the beginning of the second round and successfully moves the fight to the mat. The Englishman tries to roll and we have a very nice wrestling and backstroke performed by both fighters. Once again Duncan comes out of the situation better. Jordan Vucenic hits with a right straight after a burst. Jordan hits with straights and blood starts flowing onto Duncan’s face from the cut above his left eye. Vucenic made a mistake and the Scotsman defended the rebuttal and then tried to pin the guillotine. Again a similar action this time Duncan successfully pinned the guillotine choke and Vucenic taped out. Amazing disposition of the Scot, who forced his rival to submit.
