An ugly foul by Ibragim Chuzhigaev prematurely ended his fight with Maciej Rozanski at KSW 114. The former KSW champion put his fingers in the Pole’s eye.
Ibragim Chuzhigaev and Maciej Rozanski faced off at the KSW 114 gala in Radom. The duel was contracted at catchweight up to 96 kilograms, as Berserker jumped onto the schedule in place of the injured Sergiusz Zajac.
Chuzhigaev, as a former KSW champion, was the favorite in this clash. Ibragim had a full preparation camp behind him, while Rózanski was scheduled to return to competition in the spring. However, one should not forget that the Pole had fought in the past in ACA and Bellator where he had faced very strong opponents more than once.
Ibragim Chuzhigaev started with a low kick. The former champion added an accurate fast left. Maciej Różanski attacked with a high kick but Khuzhigaev easily dodged the strike. An accurate left by Chuzhigaev and a response with a low kick by the Berserker. Good boxing action by Różanski, who entered the clinch after the punches, but Ibragim escaped from under the net. Chuzhigaev settles for left hook attacks. Several accurate kicks by Różanski. Dynamic spurt of the fighter from the Caucasus. High kick performed by the former champion. Maciej hits with combinations by which he builds an advantage in terms of the number of punches delivered.
Chuzhigaev hits a punch to the torso and brings out a spinning backfist but misses. Good exchange in the short distance after which Różanski moved for a bring, but Ibragim defended himself. Great right hand by Spartan. Unfortunately Chuzhigaev put his finger in Różanski’s eye and we have a break. End of the fight, the clash was prematurely ended.
