Colby Covington challenged to fight Diaz brothers

Colby Covington challenged the Diaz brothers to a fight, calling them legends who sell huge amounts of PPV.

Colby Covington is undoubtedly one of the most controversial fighters in the UFC organization. The American, who lost to Joaquin Buckley in December, is setting his sights on a return to the octagon and has taken aim at the big names.

Colby Covington is seriously considering a matchup with one of the Diaz brothers. Chaos expressed his desire for such a fight in a recent interview with Submission Radio. The American urged the Stockton fighters to dance.

– I want to fight one of the Diaz brothers, you know these are big names, legends of the sport. They generate interest, they sell ppv and they can make fans excited about their fights. I want to fight legends.

Nick Diaz was supposed to return to competition in 2024, however, this ultimately did not happen. Photos of the American circulated online suggesting that he may have problems with drug and alcohol abuse. The younger of the brothers, Nate has expressed a desire to fight in the octagon however he is hoping for a championship bout, presumably with a clash for the BMF belt in mind.
