Colby Covington scared of former sparring partner

Colby Covington went to training and was frightened by a former sparring partner, the reference is, of course, to Themba Gorimbo, with whom the American came into conflict.

Colby Covington burned all bridges behind him more than once during his long career. In 2020, Covington had to leave his longtime club American Top Team after he crossed the line and definitely irked Jorge Masvidal and Dustin Poirier.

The former interim champion of the UFC organization is currently training mainly at Team MMA Masters. However, Chaos also does a lot of training at the UFC Performance Institute when he’s in Las Vegas. When Covington recently wanted to enter the gym he noticed that Themba Gorimbo, with whom he had come into conflict, was training there.

The American immediately commented strongly on this in front of the camera, however, it is clear that Colby Covington was simply scared of his former sparring partner.

– Did you see who was there? That ungrateful sku**y we used to feed. I think we should just ku**a train next to him.

Colby Covington walked up the stairs looking at who was training in the cage on the upper floor. The video clip broke after Chaos stopped on the stairs.

Themba Gorimbo watched the video and commented on the behavior of a former sparring partner.

– I like you Colby, there is nothing to be afraid of. However, if you ever feel that I am an easy opponent for you then don’t hold back just challenge me to a fight. I know you are desperate to finally record a win and will not take a ranked opponent. On the other hand, I really want to enter the ranking and I think I can beat you without any problems. I’m not naive and I know I have a job to do, but maybe for once you will bend your rules so that the fans will see what I did to you in sparring.
