A commentator suggests as many as six championship fights at the UFC’s June event at the White House. Jon Anik says such a number of top-ranked fights is possible.

Some time ago, a lot of buzz was made in the trade media by US President Donald Trump, who said that the UFC ‘s special event in Washington would feature only championship fights. Trump claimed that there were to be such combinations, as many as eight, and that the fighters would be cheered from the stands by soldiers and top government officials.

Now one of the commentators of the UFC organization has addressed the statements of the President of the United States of America. Jon Anik believes that the UFC gala at the White House could feature six championship fights. The commentator was a guest on the JAXXON Podcast where he said.

– Eight championship fights sounds incredibly ambitious…. But I think we’re heading toward six championship fights. By the end of January, we’ll have two numbered UFC 324 and UFC 325 galas out of the way. After that, there are no more big events for the whole of February, and in March there is a gala with a fight for the BMF belt. After that, we are left with only April and May, so for June 14, many champions will be available or will have long breaks from competing.

Anik has even hinted at some potential matchups that could take place at the event on the grounds by the White House in Washington. The commentator claims that the unique gala will feature Aspinall vs Gane, Van vs Taira, Yan vs Dvalishvili 3 fights, while Alex Pereira and Khamzat Chimaev are also expected to enter the octagon.
