Conor McGregor and Dan Hooker will face each other in the UFC octagon. The former champion has hinted at a return date and location. The McGregor vs Hooker fight will take place on February 1 in Saudi Arabia.
Conor McGregor has repeatedly announced his return to the octagon of the UFC organization. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons it has not happened so far. McGregor was supposed to face Michael Chandler this year, however, the fight went sour after the Irishman’s perennial health problems.
Over the weekend, Conor appeared at the BKFC gala, where Dan Hooker was also present. McGregor said he would face the New Zealander. According to the former champion, the fight with Hooker is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2025 in Saudi Arabia.
Photos and video footage have surfaced online, showing the two fighters smiling jauntily discussing with each other. Dan Hooker provided Submission Radio with details of the conversation.
– We are kindred souls. As you may have noticed we understand each other very well. We get along well, we are simply similar. We talked in the ring, I’m eager to fight, Conor is too. Now we just need confirmation from the UFC.
We will probably have to wait for possible confirmation of the news on the Conor McGregor vs Dan Hooker fight. For the time being, the UFC’s return to Saudi Arabia has not even been officially announced yet.
