Damian Janikowski bitterly commented on his loss to Michal Michalski at the KSW 113 gala in Lodz, Poland. The Olympian did not hide his disappointment with the result and apologized to the fans.
Damian Janikowski faced Michalski in one of the most interesting combinations of KSW 113 gala, but unfortunately the popular Damiano had to swallow the bitterness of defeat. Michalski proved to be better in this clash and knocked out Janikowski at the end of the first round.
Some fans and experts immediately began to suggest that Damian should consider whether it’s worth it to continue his career in KSW and expose himself to painful losses by knockout, which could translate into the fighter’s health in the future.

– I apologize to all of you. I am terribly sportingly ashamed. I can write that this is the sport, to beat the best in this category, but the heart of a sportsman hurts. So much work, sacrifices difficult training, tears and sweat to get wp**rdol. It hurts a lot. I won’t give up yet, but I’m closer as further. Thank you guys for being there. This is undoubtedly a difficult time for Damian Janikowski, who has a string of four losses in a row. It seems that it would be reasonable for Damian to rest and wait for an opportunity to fight a grappling or wrestling bout at the next edition of KSW EPIC, for example.
