Damian Janikowski on sparring with Michal Michalski
Damian Janikowski has extensively described sparring with Michal Michalski at the beginning of his MMA adventure.
– When I finished wrestling and started coming to MMA trainings Michal was the first person to beat me. So at that time he was already fighting for high honors in the FEN federation, he was already such a top, very good fighter. Well, and so we trained together, we crossed those few months.
Damiano explained what caused the players to stop training together and their paths diverged.
– Only later came the split of the Rio Grappling Wrocław club. You know I was already going to Poznan at that time, I think I was also already going to Warsaw. Later Samurai was established and Michal settled there, started training and a group began to form. Well, and we separated completely because I left for Warsaw. And when I was in Wroclaw I trained in Bonzai, and Michal no longer trained with them.
The Janikowski vs Michalski fight was contracted for three rounds in the middle division limit.
