Damian Rzepecki has made his first official appearance on the UFC’s social media channels. The former FEN champion took the opportunity to introduce himself to fans of the world’s largest MMA organization and talk about his fighting style and his pride in representing Poland.

This weekend, Rzepecki will step into the UFC octagon for the first time. At the event in Abu Dhabi—where the main event will be a bout between Magomed Ankalaev and Bogdan Guskov—he will face off against Magomed Zaynukov. The Russian, known by the nickname “Chanco,” remains undefeated in professional MMA and trains daily with UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev.

“The Butcher” spoke to UFC fans about himself

Before his debut, Damian Rzepecki appeared on the UFC Europe profile, where the organization gives new fighters the opportunity to introduce themselves to millions of fans. The Polish fighter not only talked about his career, but also demonstrated that he is very fluent in English.

To start things off, the former FEN champion presented his achievements to date and the places where he prepares for his upcoming performances.

– My professional record is 10-0 with nine finishes. I train at Projekt Fight Gym and Octopus Łódź.

He then explained why fans and the MMA community had given him the nickname “The Butcher.”

– My style is based on brutal fighting that makes use of elbows and knees. Sometimes there’s a lot of blood, which is why they call me “The Butcher.”

In closing, Rzepecki emphasized that he views the opportunity to compete under the UFC banner not only as a personal achievement, but also as a chance to represent Poland with dignity.

– I’m from Poland. We’re fighters—it’s in our DNA. We’re true fighters. I’m proud to represent my country at the highest level of MMA.

His UFC debut will be the biggest challenge of the undefeated Pole’s career so far. The bout against Magomed Zaynukov could show whether Rzepecki is ready to establish himself permanently in one of the most competitive weight classes in the world’s largest MMA organization.
