Great news has reached Polish MMA fans. Damian Rzepecki has officially joined the UFC, and we’ve already learned the details of his first fight. “The Butcher” won’t have an easy task ahead of him, as he’ll face an undefeated fighter from Dagestan right off the bat.

28-year-old Damian Rzepecki has earned this opportunity through outstanding performances on the European stage. The former FEN champion remains undefeated in professional MMA, boasting a 10-0 record. We last saw him in action in April at WOW 29, where he defeated Corneliu Rotaru Lascara by unanimous decision, confirming that he is ready for much bigger challenges.

UFC Instead of the Contender Series. “The Butcher” Heads Straight to the Octagon

Following his latest victory, there was increasing talk that Damian Rzepecki had outgrown the FEN organization. Many expected that the next step in his career would be to compete on Dana White’s Contender Series, and that it would be there that he would fight for a spot in the UFC.

However, things turned out even better for the Polish fighter. First Round Management announced that Rzepecki had signed a contract directly with the UFC, without having to go through the Contender Series.

We didn’t have to wait long for details about his debut either. According to information shared by Marcel Dorff on X (formerly Twitter), “The Butcher” will step into the Octagon for the first time on July 25 during UFC Fight Night in Abu Dhabi.

The Pole will face Magomed Zaynukov, who, like him, remains undefeated and boasts an 8-0 record. The Dagestani fighter, known to fans by the nicknames “Chanco” and “John Pork,” will also make his UFC debut that evening. In addition, he trains daily at one of the strongest clubs in the world, led by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev.

Damian Rzepecki’s debut, therefore, promises to be extremely challenging. A victory over such a highly regarded opponent would send a strong signal that yet another Polish fighter is ready to make a lasting mark in the world’s largest MMA organization.
