Dana White commented on the behavior of Merab Dvalishvili, who got into an exchange of words and a fight with a fan at UFC 310.

Merab Dvalishvili did not fight at UFC 310, but nevertheless appeared at the event because his clubmate Aljamain Sterling was on the fight card. Dvalishvili helped Aljo in the locker room during warm-ups, and then stood in the fighter’s corner. During the walk down to the locker room, Merab and another coach in the corner got into an exchange of words and blows with one of the fans, which led to a security response.

Dana White is aware that Merab Dvalishvili is bloodthirsty and this is not the first time he has reacted in this way. The UFC organization has tried to prevent such situations, but nevertheless the champion of the cockweight division found the moment to get into a tug-of-war and exchange blows with one of the fans present at the UFC 310 gala.

– Merab is just such a guy. This is not his first such incident. We try to defuse such situations before they even happen, we had a good plan for it, but I didn’t think he would get into a confrontation coming down after the Aljamain fight.

Dana White stressed that Merab Dvalishvili’s behavior is similar to what Sean Strickland is used to. However, the head of the UFC organization pointed out that the Georgian should not get into fights with fans, as it will cost him a lot of money.

– He’s my mini Strickland, only he’s not so wonky. What should I do? I think he should watch the gala in front of the TV by buying the PPV. I don’t know. He can’t beat the f*ck out of the fans all the time. All in all, he can do it, but it will cost him a lot of money. Listen, I say it all the time, we are in the f*cking MMA business.
