Dana White convinced of Conor McGregor’s return: This time everything is going the right way

Conor McGregor’s comeback is again taking real shape. This time Dana White spoke, who in an interview with Jim Rome left little doubt – the Irishman is expected to return to the cage later this year.

The UFC chief admitted that he had already envisioned the return of his biggest star, but the plans did not materialize. Now, however, the situation looks completely different. White insists that everything is moving in the right direction, and McGregor himself is back in full training.

“Everything is going the right way this time.”

Dana White has made no secret of the fact that he is now much calmer about the plan than he was just a dozen months ago. According to him, the key is the attitude of the fighter himself, who is again expected to be fully engaged in the preparations.

– I thought it would happen already last year. It didn’t work out. I am more than sure it will happen this summer. He looks motivated. He is training. There are a lot of great things going on behind the scenes that make me very confident about his fight this year.

This is a clear message to fans who have long been waiting for the return of “The Notorious.” Each new piece of behind-the-scenes information only fuels speculation about his next opponent.

White also referred to the relationship with the Irishman. As he pointed out, despite previous turmoil, the cooperation is going smoothly, and both sides are in agreement on future plans.

– We are in a good place. We have a great relationship with Conor. I am extremely confident that Conor will fight later this year. I am very confident that we will bring everything to a conclusion and he will be ready to fight. He is training, there are already recordings showing him in training. We haven’t announced anything yet. He will fight this summer. Let’s say this much for now.

As of today, the UFC is not revealing specifics about the opponent or the date of the bout. However, one thing is certain – if everything goes according to plan, McGregor’s return could be one of the biggest events of the year in the MMA world and once again attract the attention of the entire sports world.
