Daniel Cormier has recalled the tragic death of his 3-month-old daughter. In a candid conversation, the American talked about his feelings about the loss of his child.

Daniel Cormier has had an extensive career in wrestling and MMA. The American was a Strikeforce champion and UFC champion. Not all fans are aware that even before his great career began, the popular DC had to contend with a very tragic event.

Cormier in his student days was in a happy relationship with a female athlete who was involved in athletics. The couple lived to see a baby daughter. Unfortunately, on June 14, 2003, the happiness of the young parents turned into a huge tragedy.

Daniel Cormier, during an interview with Shannon Sharpe, talked about this cruelly difficult moment in his life. DC described under what circumstances his daughter lost her life.

– I was 23 at the time, we were students. Her mother was from Texas and was driving home to visit her parents. She didn’t have air conditioning in her car, so she decided to put the baby in a friend’s car, this car was just newer. Unfortunately, that car was later hit by a truck. If the daughter had been in the car with her mother then nothing would have happened to her. However, she made that decision and. the daughter was killed, and it destroyed her mother’s life. It was so sad, the worst thing that affected me in my life. She was so small, I still remember the sight of that tiny coffin.
