Daniel Omielańczuk has been put in a difficult position by his current contract. Artur Ostaszewski commented on his fighter’s situation.
Daniel Omielańczuk is an extremely experienced fighter who has fought for the UFC, ACA and KSW organizations. Representing the WCA club, the fighter has provided his fans with tons of excitement for many years.
In 2023, after parting ways with the KSW federation, Daniel signed a contract with the CLOUT MMA organization. He fought two winning fights for it, defeating Denis Załęcki and Kamil Minda, respectively. The veteran of the Polish MMA scene found himself in a difficult position, as CLOUT had been absorbed by FAME and Omielańczuk had not received any fight offers for almost a year.
Artur Ostaszewski, manager of Shocker MMA Solutions, a group that manages Omielańczuk’s career and represents him in meetings with the organization’s presidents, talked about the fighter’s difficult situation. Ostaszewski admitted that the situation is complicated while the contract is still in force, and if Omielańczuk does not receive a suitable offer then he should gain financial compensation from FAME.
– The situation is complicated because the event has not yet taken place. On the other hand, we have received assurances that the contract is in force. If such a situation arises, and there are indications of it, we will receive this compensation.
– If the contract does not materialize, why should we block and wait indefinitely? I figured that there should be some compensation for such a wait. I do not hide, we would prefer to fight. We are ready to go to some settlements. We would have preferred a fight more.
