Dawid Kuczmarski is the new opponent of Daniel Skibiński at KSW 115 in Lubin. Tymoteusz Lopaczyk withdrew from the fight due to a rib injury.
The XTB KSW 115 gala in Lubin will bring a clash of two strong welterweight fighters. The number nine ranked fighter in this category, Daniel Skibinski (23-10), will face the undefeated Dawid Kuczmarski (8-0). The duel will take place on February 21 at the RCS arena. Tymoteusz Lopaczyk, who was originally matched against Skibinski, had to withdraw from the confrontation due to a rib injury.
Daniel Skibinski also has three fights under his belt in KSW. In his last bout, which took place in August, he won by submission over Oskar Szczepaniak and was awarded a bonus for the best finish of the evening. The Pole has been competing in professional MMA since 2013, and has so far fought 33 fights, 23 of which he won. Ten times he won before time, seven times by knockout, and three times by submission of his rivals. The popular “Skiba” is a former champion of the Babylon MMA organization, and has also fought for such brands as Cage Warriors and UAE Warriors. Outside of Poland, he has competed in Germany, the United Arab Emirates and England.
Dawid Kuczmarski has had three bouts in the KSW organization. He last competed in the round cage last November and defeated Krystian Kaszubowski. Before that, he won against Michal Guzik and submitted Morgann Gbolou, for which he was awarded a bonus. The fighter hailing from Olsztyn began his adventure with professional MMA in 2020, and to date he has fought eight fights and won in all of them. Before joining KSW, he fought for such organizations as Babylon MMA, Time of Masters and CaveMMA. The representative of the Samurai Gym club also competed successfully on the amateur scene.
