Phil De Fries and Darko Stosić will face off in a rematch at KSW 100. The De Fries vs Stosić duel will take place on November 16 in Gliwice.

The KSW 100 gala will feature a rematch at the top of the royal weight class. Phil De Fries (25-6, 1NC, 6 KOs, 14 Sub), a perennial heavyweight dominator, will defend his belt against Darko Stošić (21-6, 15 KOs, 1 Sub), the number one ranked fighter he faced two and a half years ago. The confrontation will take place on November 16 at PreZero Arena Gliwice.

The first fight between Phil De Fries and Darko Stošić took place in the KSW cage in February 2022. The men fought almost the entire five rounds, but ultimately it was in the last round of the duel that the Englishman smashed the Serb and defended his heavyweight belt.

At the XTB KSW 100 gala, Phil De Fries will face his eleventh defense of the heavyweight title. The Englishman is on a streak of thirteen straight wins, remaining undefeated since 2017 and is the longest reigning champion in the history of the KSW organization. De Fries won the title in 2018 by defeating Michal Andryszak, and he also has victories over such fighters as Michal Kita, Karol Bedorf, Tomasz Narkun, Todd Duffee and Szymon Bajor.

In his last confrontation, which took place at KSW 95, Phil won against Augusto Sakai. The Englishman has fought 32 fights in his entire career, 25 of which he won. Known for his wrestling skills, he submitted his rivals as many as fifteen times, triumphed by knockout in six fights, and won thirteen times already in the first round.

Darko Stošić has eight fights under his belt for the KSW organization, and only one of them, against Phil De Fries, ended not to his liking. Since his first bout with the champion, Darko has sent Michal Kita, Stefan Vojcak, Michal Martínek and Matheus Scheffel to the boards.

Stošić’s last fight was outside KSW and he added another triumph by knockout to his record. Darko is known for his powerful punching power. Out of 21 fights he won, he sent his rivals to the boards fifteen times, and twelve times he won already in the first round. In the round cage five times he was awarded the bonus for the best knockout of the evening. In KSW, only one of his fights made it to the judges’ decision.
