Alexandre Pantoja challenged Demetrious Johnson to a fight after his victory at UFC 310, the former UFC champion responded to the invitation to a duel.

Alexandre Pantoja showed his excellent side in the fight of the evening at the UFC 310 event in Las Vegas. The Brazilian defended his flyweight championship belt by submitting Kai Asakura in the second round. After the impressive victory, Pantoja decided to challenge Demetrious Johnson to a fight .

Alexandre Pantoja addressed the former longtime champion of the UFC organization after his win. Here are what words the Brazilian addressed to the American.

– He doesn’t fight anymore, he retired this year. But this is something to you Demetrious Johnson. I am the best fighter of this weight class ever, if you want to prove that you are better then come back to the octagon.

Demetrious Johnson did not keep fans waiting long for a response. Mighty Mouse addressed the UFC champion and the fans.

– My black ass is not coming back from retirement. Why would I do that? The sums in my bank account add up, I’m 38 years old. I have defended the belt eleven times in a row. Your champion is not coming back.

– Gentlemen I am retired, I am really not interested in fighting in MMA anymore. I’m happy for Alexandre Pantoja, it’s cool that he defended the belt for the third time, that he is the best fighter of the flyweight category in the world. In my opinion, all the best fighters in this division are represented by American Top Team: Alexandre Pantoja, Adriano Moraes and Kyoji Horiguchi.

Later, Johnson continued his speech by listing the names of players who have returned from retirement. DJ also talked about how exactly his financial situation is.

– I’m not like fucking Jose Aldo or fucking Donald Cerrone. In my case fighting doesn’t make sense, what would I supposedly have to prove? I’ll tell you something recently I received an offer to fight for $2 million. However, I am at such a point in my life that I can confidently refuse, I was the best fighter in the world for six years. I dominated not only in America, but also in Asia. I really gave myself a year to see if I would miss fighting and nothing like that happened, I don’t need it anymore.
