Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk is returning to competitive sports after a break of more than a year. The former world boxing champion will compete on October 24 at the Babilon MMA 61 event in Radom, where he is set to face Marcin “Thanos” Sianos.

In recent years, Włodarczyk’s name has regularly come up in connection with MMA and freak fights. “Diablo” was being considered for a bout against “Ferrari” at FAME, and later there was also talk of a potential matchup with Arkadiusz Tańcula. He was then scheduled to appear at the National Stadium to face Jarosław “PashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, but he was ultimately removed from the card.

Martin Lewandowski was also in contact with the former world champion at the same time. Włodarczyk was reportedly interested in making his KSW debut, but in the end, he did not switch disciplines. “Diablo” stuck with boxing, and that’s where we’ll see him again.

Włodarczyk is back. His opponent is Marcin Sianos

The bout will take place at Babilon MMA 61, which will be held on October 24 in Radom. Włodarczyk will face Marcin Sianos.

“Thanos” has recently been regularly combining MMA appearances with fights under the FAME banner. He has won his last two bouts. First, he defeated Przemysław Mysiala, and then he beat Michał “Matrix” Królik on points.

Now, however, he will face one of the most successful opponents of his career.

Włodarczyk is a former WBC and IBF junior heavyweight world champion, so his boxing experience will definitely be an advantage. What’s more, the fight against Sianos will be held under boxing rules.

For “Diablo,” this will be a return to the environment he knows best. For Sianos, on the other hand, it’s a huge opportunity to prove himself against a name that has been among the world’s top boxers for years.
