Diego Lopes and Jean Silva will meet in the main event fight of this year’s edition of Noche UFC, which will take place on Saturday, September 13 in San Antonio.
The UFC organization has officially announced the fight of the evening of the Noche UFC gala. Diego Lopes and Jean Silva will face off in the octagon on Mexican Independence Day. It will be a duel between the recent contender for the featherweight division championship belt and the unleashed representative of the Fighting Nerds, who has a series of thirteen victories in a row.
Fans expected that the fight of the evening of UFC Noche in San Antonio might feature a duel between Yair Rodriguez and Diego Lopes. However, the matchmakers of the UFC organization had other plans and decided to match Diego against Jean Silva.
Diego Lopes until recently boasted a series of five wins in a row. The fighter, who lives in Mexico, earned with his victories the chance to fight for the championship belt. Lopes tried to put up the toughest possible conditions for Alex Volkanovski, however, in the end he was unable to defeat the veteran and it was the popular Volk who once again sat on the throne of the category up to 66 kilograms.
The unleashed Jean Silva has broken into the UFC octagon by storm. Using the nickname Lord, the fighter defeated five rivals in a row before time and quickly won the fans’ affection thanks to his impressive fighting style.
