Dmitry Bivol on street fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov

Dmitry Bivol was asked about the street fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov, the world champion commented on the controversial topic.

Dmitry Bivol recently took a successful rematch and took all the championship belts of the welterweight division from Artur Beterbiev. For the 34-year-old boxer, who hails from Kyrgyzstan, this is the biggest success of his career to date.

Commentators and fans would like to see a Bivol trilogy with Beterbiev, however, the fighter himself suggested that since he had achieved all he could in the welterweight category he would like to try his hand at the cruiserweight division.

An excerpt from a Q&A with Bivol appeared online. At one point, a question was asked about a street fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov. How did Dmitry assess his chances in a solo against the undefeated former UFC champion?

– To be honest, MMA is closer to street fighting (than boxing). There’s no denying that (laughs).
