Dominik Humburger commented on his unexpected departure from the KSW federation to the Oktagon MMA organization.
Dominik Humburger fought an incredible battle with Boris Dzikowski at KSW 103 in Liberec on Friday night. The Czech defeated the Pole and fulfilled his contract with the KSW federation. Just a day later, Humburger was announced as a new Oktagon MMA fighter.
Dominik Humburger addressed the unexpected move in an interview with Czech journalists. The tough Czech admitted that he received an offer from the Czech-Slovak organization on Saturday before noon while he decided to accept it a few hours before the start of the Oktagon 67 event in Třinec.
– Thank you very much KSW, it was great there, they took good care of me. It’s a great organization, but I had been there for years and wanted to try something new.
Dominik Humburger, of course, did not mention anything about finances, stating only that he had been in KSW long enough for the desire to try something else to emerge. Humburger will make his Oktagon debut in two months, April 26 to be exact, at the Oktagon 70 gala. Dominik will face Samuel Kristofic in the quarterfinals of the Gamechanger tournament for one million euros.
