Dustin Poirier will return to the octagon this Saturday. At UFC 318 in New Orleans, Diamond will fight his last fight of his professional career. Poirier will face Max Holloway for the third time in a clash for the BMF belt. With this clash, the American will bid farewell to his fans and end his years-long adventure in the UFC.

– He can become a world champion. As soon as I started training with this guy, we asked him to stay longer with American Top Team. He was already scheduled to return to Poland, and stayed until the end of my preparation camp to help me. Great striker, great conditioning.
Dustin Poirier added that in his opinion Robert Ruchala can cause a lot of problems for current fighters in the featherweight division.
– I think he’s going to spoil the blood of a lot of guys in the UFC. I saw that he has a fight announced in Paris, so I’ll be watching that. I’m a big fan of his, and he’s a great person for it. I’m excited to see how his career will develop in the UFC and I’m glad he’s here.
