Mariusz Pudzianowski and Eddie Hall faced off in a duel between former strongman world champions. The fight between the two strongmen was responsible for the media promotion of the KSW 105 event in Gliwice. Pudzian had a huge advantage in experience, while for the English Beast it was a debut not only in KSW, but also in professional MMA.
Mariusz Pudzianowski was a big favorite to fight Eddie Hall. However, fans and experts alike wondered whether the 48-year-old Pole would be able to translate his experience and years of MMA training into a result in the cage.
Eddie Hall did not allow himself to be hit by Mariusz Pudzianowski and brought out accurate punches himself. Eddie Hall hit with a strong right and Pudzian wobbled on his feet. Mariusz moved for a takedown, but the Englishman brilliantly rejected the Pole, who fell to the mat. Hall got to Pudzianowski and began to deliver ground and pound punches. Pudzian tucked in a turtle, however, after a dozen punches he slapped the mat and the referee stopped the fight.
