The UFC organization has officially confirmed that the Evloev vs Sterling and Gane vs Volkov fights have been moved to the UFC 310 event in Las Vegas.
Movsar Evloev and Aljamain Sterling were scheduled to face each other on October 5 in the main card of the UFC 307 gala in Salt Lake City. Unfortunately, Sterling picked up an injury that ruled him out of the event. The next days until the gala passed, and UFC matchmakers had trouble finding a suitable replacement. In the end, therefore, it was deemed better to move the duel to December’s UFC 310 gala.
The same is true of the Ciryl Gane vs Alexander Volkov clash, which was scheduled to take place at the UFC 308 gala in Abu Dhabi. Russian Volkov sustained an injury and fell off the schedule. Ciryl Gane, while speaking to French journalists ahead of the UFC gala in Paris, confirmed that the duel has been postponed and will take place on December 7 at UFC 310 in Las Vegas.
This year’s last numbered gala has thus been unexpectedly supplemented by two very interesting bouts, which will feature highly ranked fighters. As of yet, the main event of UFC 310 has still not been announced.
